Concrete Laborer & Finisher
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer & Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of concrete work or be eager to learn in a fast paced environment. A strong commitment to professionalism and attention to detail is required. This role involves physical labor and requires the ability to work effectively as part of a team on various construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and completion of flat work concrete projects for various structures, including basements, sidewalks, driveways, and more.
- Safely operate equipment necessary for concrete completion.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks, including moving materials and equipment as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain a consistent work schedule.
- Uphold professionalism at all times in the work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in concrete work or related fields is preferred. Will train the right candidate.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
- Ability to have a flexible schedule with fluctuating work hours day-to-day. No weekends required.
- Valid driver license.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate professionally to team members, homeowners, and builders.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
- Must pass a background check.
Boll Custom Concrete is seeking individuals who wish to have a career in concrete. The owner has been in the industry for over 20 years and has recently transitioned his company ownership to a new endeavor. There are a variety of growth opportunities available at Boll Custom Concrete and we'd love to discuss those opportunities with you. The company is based out of Waconia, MN and the project sites will be located throughout Carver County and surrounding communities. Company vehicles are provided, but reliable transportation to the company's workshop every morning is necessary. The use of personal vehicles during working hours will not be permitted without prior approval.
